Small grey, spotted and flowery tomme with a melting and delicious taste, matured for at least 30 days. The name "Tomme de Savoie" is only a generic name. In fact, it is said that there are as many Tommes or Savoy cheeses as there are valleys and mountains. Born in the heart of the Alps, this cheese is rooted in the history of the Duchy of Savoy. If Tomme takes its name from the Savoyard dialect "Toma" meaning "cheese made in mountain pastures", it is because each farmer produced his own Tomme.
