The young company OPUS Beverages s.àr.la was founded in May 2017 by three young Luxembourgers. Being close friends and from the Sûre Valley, the ardent entrepreneurs had the ambition to create a product based on different fruits such as pear and apple that can be found in quantity on the territory. After intensive research, they found that Luxembourg already had quality fruit brandy and decided to create an original and local Gin. To highlight the notion of terroir, they created a distilled Gin with 26 different ingredients, including 8 such as elderberry, blackberries, honey, rosehip ... from Luxembourg to create a craft product with a authentic taste. Tasting note: On the nose are subtle hints of juniper berries that dominate, followed by a freshness related to citrus and empyreumatic with hints of spice. The palate is complex on juniper berry, red fruits and honey are present and evolves on notes of gentian and slightly peppery. The mouthfeel is long and intense with a powerful aromatic palette and despite the alcohol content of 28%, it is delicate and harmonious.
