The unctuous Kaltbach is pronounced kaltbar, this cheese from the German-speaking part of Switzerland is enriched with cream. In the mouth, it has a melting texture despite a firm paste. Its cut is of a beautiful golden yellow color. Thanks to the natural moisture that the quartz stores in the rock, the Kaltbach sandstone cave offers perfect conditions for maturing cheese. The cave is 15 meters below the surface and has a temperature of 12.5 degrees all year round.
