Vinification: Hand-picked. Maceration for 12 days with pumping over twice a day. Spontaneous malolactic fermentation. Aged for 12 months, partly in old barrels and partly in vats with micro-oxygenation
Tasting note:
The color is an intense garnet red with purple highlights. The nose is intense with notes of black fruits, cocoa, mocha and vanilla.
The attack on the palate is ample with a dominance of aging and a light black fruit. The finish is impressively long with mocha and vanilla notes and silky tannins. Serving temperature: 15°C
Food and wine pairings: To be enjoyed with a grilled matured rib-eye steak
Aging potential: Drink now and keep for 10 years in a good cellar
