The house: Made in Madeira, this agricultural rum profits from a subtropical climate where sugar cane enjoys this small paradise on volcanic ground. Originally intended for the production of sugar, it is now almost exclusively reserved for the production of rum since recognition in DOP since 2011. Because of the narrow and steep roads, the manufacture requires a work of convict. During the harvest, the canes are transported on a man's back to the loading points on the road and then delivered to the mills. Tasting note: An amber color and with mahogany reflections. On the nose, it presents with a subtle sweet aroma of vanilla, molasse and light notes of wood. The taste is round and balanced, with delicate notes of vanilla and sugarcane with an important aromatic persistence.
