Together with our "family", we celebrated the 10 year anniversary of Luxcaddy. Big thanks to all our customers and our lovely team.
The "chambre de commerce", represented by its CEO, Mr Carlo Thelen, visits our company.
As we experienced great business growth over the last couple of years, we had to moved (again) to a new and bigger warehouse at Kehlen, with a ground surface of 750m2, pallet racks and forklifts.
Unfortunately, our long term bakery partner "Friedrich" stopped his activity, but we are delighted to welcome the pastry mâitre "Yves Rieffer" as his replacement among our partners. With his range of over 400 products, we have even managed to enlarge our offer.
Numerous enhancements and continuous improvement of logistics have enabled us to be the first Internet supermarket in Luxembourg, offering absolutely FREE deliveries throughout the hole country.
Our fleet has been completely replaced with 'Mercedes' vans, for more reliable and environmentally friendly deliveries.
By partnering with the traditional butcher of the "Coopérative de Bonnevoie" and later also with the butcher "Kirsch", Luxcaddy is proud to offer the largest meat range in the country.
A team of seven people, a fleet of four refrigerated trucks and a range of more than 4000 different products, pushed us to move from our small warehouse in Merl to larger and better adapted premises in Holzem. (Sales in 2011: + / - € 1 million)
Luxcaddy develops its own "live tracking" system of its vans. A system that allows us to track the position of our vehicles and helps us to optimize our deliveries and improve our service.
To better prepare for future needs and better address the countless challenges that lie ahead, we decided to give our site a new name: Luxcaddy.lu, a catchy name, identifying the best with its activity.
To meet the countless requests from our customers, "epicerie.lu" launches its "BIO" product range, regrouping products resulting from organic farming.
Until then, limited to the city of Luxembourg and the surrounding area, "epicerie.lu" expands their delivery area to the limits of the Grand Duchy.
After one year of operation and development, "epicerie.lu" hires his first employee (delivery) to meet the growing demand.
After nearly a year of preparation, the first "e-commerce" website for groceries in Luxembourg under the name "epicerie.lu" goes online. With only one refrigerator-car and no employees other than the two founders Georges and Jacques. (Sales in the first year: 95.000 €)
The launch of "epicerie.lu" had a great interest in the luxembourgish media:
