Property located in the town of Sainte Radegonde next to Gensac. The vineyard on the hillsides is planted in merlot majority for red wines. This property of the Cholet family is followed by Pascal Poussevin, famous oenologist of the great Bordeaux wines. Area : 46 hectares. Terroir : Graves. Grape variety : 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. Vinification: after the mechanical harvest, the vinification is traditionally done in thermo-regulated vats. Aging in vats and oak barrels. Tasting note : bright ruby color of medium intensity. Floral nose with notes of peppermint and black fruits (blackberry and blackcurrant). After a fairly strong attack, it offers a nice fruit around a structure still on the defensive but promising. The dense finish is tasty and aromatic.
